Description

Neurofilaments usually contain three intermediate filament proteins: L, M, and H which are involved in the maintenance of neuronal caliber. NF-H has an important function in mature axons that is not subserved by the two smaller NF proteins.

Application Notes

The stated application concentrations are suggested starting points. Titration of the NF-H antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.

Immunogen

A portion of amino acids 328-362 from human NEFH was used as the immunogen for the NF-H antibody.

Storage

Aliquot the NF-H antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
