Neurofilament Heavy Antibody recognizes Neurofilament Heavy (NEFH), the largest subunit of the neurofilament triplet proteins that form the principal intermediate filament network within neurons. Neurofilaments provide structural support for axons, regulate axonal diameter, and contribute to the maintenance of neuronal architecture.
