Kinetochore protein NDC80 homolog is a protein that in humans is encoded by the NDC80 gene. It is mapped to 18p11.32. This gene encodes a component of the NDC80 kinetochore complex. The encoded protein consists of an N-terminal microtubule binding domain and a C-terminal coiled-coiled domain that interacts with other components of the complex. This protein functions to organize and stabilize microtubule-kinetochore interactions and is required for proper chromosome segregation.
Optimal dilution of the NDC80 antibody should be determined by the researcher.
Recombinant human protein (amino acids N87-E602) was used as the immunogen for the NDC80 antibody.
After reconstitution, the NDC80 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
