Description

MyD88 is a cytosolic adapter protein that plays a central role in theinnateand adaptive immune response. This protein functions as an essential signal transducer in the interleukin-1 andToll-like receptorsignaling pathways. Inhibiting the IL1R/MyD88 pathway in vivo could block the damage from acute inflammation that occurs in response to sterile cell death, and do so in a way that might not compromise tissue repair or host defense against pathogens.

Application Notes

Titration of the MyD88 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.

Immunogen

Human partial recombinant protein (AA 44-264) was used as the immunogen for this MyD88 antibody.

Storage

The MyD88 antibody can be stored at 4oC to -20oC. After reconstitution, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freeze/thaws.
