This antibody reacts to Histone H4 monomethylated at Lysine 5 (K5me1). No cross reactivity with non-modified Lysine 5, or other monomethylations in Histone H4.
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting points. Titration of the recombinant Monomethyl-Histone H4 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A monomethyl-lysine 5 peptide corresponding to Histone H4 was used as the immunogen for the Monomethyl-Histone H4 antibody.
