Description

Menin is a protein that in humans is encoded by the MEN1 gene. It is mapped to 11q13.1. This gene encodes menin, a tumor suppressor associated with a syndrome known as multiple endocrine neoplasia type 1. Menin is a scaffold protein that functions in histone modification and epigenetic gene regulation. It is thought to regulate several pathways and processes by altering chromatin structure through the modification of histones.

Application Notes

Optimal dilution of the Menin antibody should be determined by the researcher.

Immunogen

Recombinant human protein (amino acids M1-L615) was used as the immunogen for the Menin antibody.

Storage

After reconstitution, the Menin antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
