Description

Dual specificity kinase that activates the JUN kinases MAPK8 (JNK1) and MAPK9 (JNK2) as well as MAPK14 (p38) but not MAPK1 (ERK2) or MAPK3 (ERK1).

Application Notes

The stated application concentrations are suggested starting points. Titration of the MEK4 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.

Immunogen

A portion of amino acids 259-287 from the mouse protein was used as the immunogen for the MEK4 antibody.

Storage

Aliquot the MEK4 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
