Multidrug resistance 1, also called P-Glycoprotein, is a member of the ATP-binding cassette transporters family. MDR1 is involved in the transport of protease inhibitors in vitro and mediates the transport of the cardiac glycoside, digoxin.
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting amounts. Titration of the MDR1 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
1. Boiling the sections in 10mM Citrate buffer, pH6, is a REQUIRED pretreatment.
A mixture of human and hamster drug-resistant whole cells and crude plasma membranes was used as the immunogen for this MDR1 antibody.
After reconstitution, the MDR1 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
