MCUB, or Calcium uniporter regulatory subunit MCUb, mitochondrial, is involved in various cellular processes, including metabolism, cell signaling, and cell death. By controlling the influx of calcium into mitochondria, MCUB helps to regulate mitochondrial function and protect cells from damage. Research has shown that dysregulation of MCUB can lead to mitochondrial dysfunction and contribute to the development of various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and cancer.
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting points. Titration of the MCUB antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A portion of amino acids 291-320 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the MCUB antibody.
Aliquot the MCUB antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
