Minichromosome maintenance, S. cerevisiae, homolog of, 3, also called RLFB or P1 Protein, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the MCM3 gene. MCM3 is one of the highly conserved mini-chromosome maintenance proteins (MCM) that are involved in the initiation of eukaryotic genome replication. This protein is a subunit of the protein complex that consists of MCM2-7. It has been shown to interact directly with MCM5/CDC46. This protein also interacts with, and thus is acetlyated by MCM3AP, a chromatin-associated acetyltransferase. The acetylation of this protein inhibits the initiation of DNA replication and cell cycle progression.
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting amounts. Titration of the MCM3 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
1. HIER: steamed with pH6 citrate buffer is required for FFPE testing.
An amino acid sequence from the N-terminus of human MCM3 (REAQRDYLDFLDDEE) was used as the immunogen for this MCM3 antibody (100% homologous in human, mouse and rat).
After reconstitution, the MCM3 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
