Description

Acyl-protein thioesterase 1 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the LYPLA1 gene. This gene encodes a member of the alpha/beta hydrolase superfamily. The encoded protein functions as a homodimer, exhibiting both depalmitoylating as well as lysophospholipase activity, and may be involved in Ras localization and signaling. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Pseudogenes of this gene have been defined on chromosomes 4, 6, and 7.

Immunogen

An E.coli-derived human recombinant protein (amino acids H35-D230) was used as the immunogen for the Lysophospholipase 1 antibody.

Storage

After reconstitution, the Lysophospholipase 1 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
