Description

Lin-9 homolog is a protein that is encoded by the LIN9 gene in humans. This gene encodes a tumor suppressor protein that inhibits DNA synthesis and oncogenic transformation through association with the retinoblastoma 1 protein. The encoded protein also interacts with a complex of other cell cycle regulators to repress cell cycle-dependent gene expression in non-dividing cells. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene.

Application Notes

Optimal dilution of the LIN9 antibody should be determined by the researcher.

Immunogen

An E.coli-derived human recombinant protein (amino acids F127-D542) was used as the immunogen for the LIN9 antibody.

Storage

After reconstitution, the LIN9 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
