TIEG2 is a transcription factor. The protein activates the epsilon- and gamma-globin gene promoters and, to a much lower degree, the beta-globin gene and represses promoters containing SP1-like binding inhibiting cell growth. It represses transcription of SMAD7 which enhances TGF-beta signaling. It induces apoptosis.
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting points. Titration of the KLF11 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A portion of amino acids 7-36 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the KLF11 antibody.
Aliquot the KLF11 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
