Fermitin family homolog 3, also called Kindlin-3, plays a central role in cell adhesion in hematopoietic cells. Acts by activating the integrin beta-1-3 (ITGB1, ITGB2 and ITGB3). Required for integrin-mediated platelet adhesion and leukocyte adhesion to endothelial cells. Required for activation of integrin beta-2 (ITGB2) in polymorphonuclear granulocytes (PMNs) (By similarity).
Titration of the Kindlin-3 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A portion of amino acids 117-151 from the mouse protein was used as the immunogen for the Kindlin-3 antibody.
Aliquot the Kindlin-3 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
