KDM3B Antibody by IF in HeLa cells. Immunofluorescence staining of HeLa cells using Lysine-specific demethylase 3B Antibody reveals prominent green nuclear staining with red alpha-tubulin labeling of the cytoplasm. Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (blue). The observed distribution is described from the fluorescence image without claiming organelle-specific colocalization in the absence of an appropriate marker.
KDM3B Antibody by IHC in human lung carcinoma. Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded human lung carcinoma using Lysine-specific demethylase 3B Antibody reveals brown immunoreactivity in malignant epithelial structures and some surrounding cells. Sections underwent heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0), blocking with goat serum, and primary antibody incubation at 2 ug/mL overnight at 4oC. Bound antibody was detected using an HRP-conjugated secondary antibody and DAB chromogen.
KDM3B Antibody by FACS in HEL cells. Flow cytometry of fixed, permeabilized HEL cells stained with Lysine-specific demethylase 3B Antibody shows a rightward fluorescence shift (blue) relative to the rabbit IgG isotype control (green) and unstained control (red). Cells were fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde, stained with 1 ug antibody per 1 x 10^6 cells, and detected with a fluorophore-conjugated secondary antibody. The experiment evaluates intracellular immunoreactivity, not cell-surface expression.
KDM3B Antibody by WB in human leukemia cell lines. Western blot analysis using Lysine-specific demethylase 3B Antibody detects a prominent immunoreactive band near 210 kDa in K562 (lane 1) and HEL (lane 2) whole-cell lysates. The observed migration is compared with the calculated molecular weight of approximately 192 kDa. Reduced lysates containing 30 ug protein per lane were separated by 8% SDS-PAGE and transferred to nitrocellulose. After blocking with 5% nonfat milk, the membrane was incubated with primary antibody at 0.5 ug/mL overnight at 4oC, followed by HRP-conjugated secondary antibody and chemiluminescent detection.

Description

KDM3B Antibody / Lysine-specific demethylase 3B Antibody detects KDM3B, a chromatin-associated enzyme that removes particular methyl groups from histone lysine residues. KDM3B belongs to the Jumonji C domain-containing family of demethylases and uses iron and alpha-ketoglutarate in its catalytic mechanism. It has been associated especially with demethylation of histone H3 lysine 9 methylation states, modifications that can influence chromatin accessibility and transcriptional regulation. The consequences of demethylation depend on the surrounding chromatin environment and associated regulatory proteins.

Histone methylation is a reversible modification that contributes to the organization of active and repressed genomic regions. By altering methylation at selected loci, KDM3B can participate in changes in gene expression without modifying DNA sequence. Its activity is integrated with transcription factors, chromatin remodelers, and other histone-modifying enzymes. Members of the KDM3 family share catalytic features but differ in their regulatory interactions and biological contexts. KDM3B should therefore not be treated as interchangeable with KDM3A or other Jumonji demethylases. The designation Lysine-specific demethylase 3B Antibody refers to the same gene product.

KDM3B has been investigated in hematopoietic development, cellular differentiation, and cancer-associated gene regulation. Altered expression or activity may affect transcriptional programs involved in proliferation and lineage commitment, but specific outcomes depend on cell type and chromatin context. The dependence of Jumonji demethylases on metabolic cofactors also links chromatin regulation to cellular biochemical state. NSJ Bioreagents includes KDM3B among enzymes involved in epigenetic regulation, histone modification, and the coordination of transcriptional programs. A KDM3B Antibody can help contextualize the molecular functions and regulation of this protein.
