The immunoglobulin light chain is the small polypeptide subunit of an antibody (immunoglobulin). A typical antibody is composed of two immunoglobulin (Ig) heavy chains and two Ig light chains. In mammals, the two light chains in an antibody are always identical, with only one type of light chain, kappa or lambda. [Wiki]
For detection of total human kappa light chain, see our Human Kappa Light Chain ELISA Antibody RM126 page.
Optimal dilution of the Kappa antibody should be determined by the researcher.
A synthetic peptide specific to human Kappa light chain / IGKC was used as the immunogen for the Kappa antibody.
Store the Kappa antibody at -20oC.
