IRF5 Antibody Human, Mouse and Rat WB. Western blot analysis was performed using IRF5 Antibody. Lane 1: rat intestine lysate; lane 2: human HeLa cell lysate; lane 3: human COLO320 cell lysate; lane 4: mouse NIH3T3 cell lysate; lane 5: mouse HEPA1-6 cell lysate. A specific immunoreactive band is detected at approximately 57 kDa in all tested samples, consistent with the expected molecular weight of IRF5. These results demonstrate that this Immune Response Regulator Antibody is suitable for Western blot detection of IRF5 across human, mouse, and rat samples.
IRF5 Antibody Human Breast Cancer IHC. Immunohistochemistry was performed on FFPE human breast cancer tissue using IRF5 Antibody. Heat-induced epitope retrieval was performed by boiling tissue sections in pH 6, 10 mM citrate buffer for 20 minutes followed by cooling prior to incubation with the primary antibody. Bound antibody was visualized using an HRP-conjugated secondary antibody and DAB chromogen. Predominantly nuclear staining is observed in the malignant epithelial cells, consistent with the role of IRF5 as an immune response-regulating transcription factor. These results demonstrate that this Immune Response Regulator Antibody is suitable for immunohistochemical detection of IRF5 in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded human breast cancer tissue.
IRF5 Antibody Mouse Spleen IHC. Immunohistochemistry was performed on FFPE mouse spleen tissue using IRF5 Antibody. Distinct nuclear staining is observed within splenic immune cell populations, consistent with the role of IRF5 as an immune response-regulating transcription factor. These results demonstrate that this Immune Response Regulator Antibody is suitable for immunohistochemical detection of IRF5 in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded mouse spleen tissue.
IRF5 Antibody Rat Spleen IHC. Immunohistochemistry was performed on FFPE rat spleen tissue using IRF5 Antibody. Predominantly nuclear staining is observed throughout splenic immune cell populations, consistent with the role of IRF5 as an immune response-regulating transcription factor. These results demonstrate that this Immune Response Regulator Antibody is suitable for immunohistochemical detection of IRF5 in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded rat spleen tissue.

Description

IRF5 Antibody recognizes Interferon Regulatory Factor 5, an immune response regulator encoded by the IRF5 gene that coordinates innate immune activation and inflammatory gene expression. As a member of the interferon regulatory factor family, IRF5 functions downstream of Toll-like receptor signaling to regulate transcription of type one interferons and numerous cytokines involved in host defense. Activation of IRF5 promotes nuclear translocation and transcriptional control of genes required for antiviral immunity, inflammatory responses, and immune cell activation. NSJ Bioreagents supplies this IRF5 Antibody to support reliable detection of this immune response regulator in diverse research applications.

IRF5 plays an essential role in macrophages, dendritic cells, monocytes, and B lymphocytes, where it integrates signals from pattern recognition receptors to shape both innate and adaptive immune responses. Through regulation of cytokines including tumor necrosis factor, interleukin 6, and interleukin 12, IRF5 influences immune cell communication and promotes proinflammatory responses during infection and tissue injury. Because of these activities, IRF5 Antibody is frequently used to investigate immune regulation, inflammatory signaling, macrophage activation, and cellular responses to microbial pathogens.

Aberrant IRF5 activity has been associated with numerous human diseases, including systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, multiple sclerosis, and several malignancies. Genetic polymorphisms within the IRF5 locus are among the strongest inherited risk factors for multiple autoimmune disorders, underscoring the importance of tightly regulated IRF5 signaling. IRF5 is also being investigated in the tumor microenvironment, where immune regulation and inflammatory signaling influence cancer progression and therapeutic response. Consequently, IRF5 Antibody provides a valuable tool for studies spanning immunology, inflammation, oncology, and translational research.

IRF5 Antibody enables sensitive detection of this immune response regulator in studies of innate immunity, cytokine signaling, inflammatory transcriptional networks, and host defense mechanisms. Analysis of IRF5 expression and localization contributes to a better understanding of immune regulation in both normal physiology and disease, making this antibody a dependable reagent for investigating inflammatory and immune-mediated pathways.
