IL15RA Antibody recognizes interleukin 15 receptor alpha (IL15RA/CD215), the high-affinity alpha subunit of the interleukin 15 receptor complex that is essential for IL-15-mediated immune regulation. Unlike many cytokine receptors, IL15RA binds IL-15 with exceptionally high affinity and presents the cytokine to neighboring lymphocytes through a unique mechanism known as trans-presentation. This specialized signaling process is required for the development, survival, and activation of natural killer (NK) cells, memory CD8-positive T cells, natural killer T cells, and subsets of intraepithelial lymphocytes. Because of this central role in coordinating innate and adaptive immunity, IL15RA Antibody is widely used to investigate cytokine receptor biology and immune cell activation.
IL15RA is expressed by dendritic cells, monocytes, macrophages, epithelial cells, fibroblasts, skeletal muscle, and numerous other cell types that regulate immune responses. Following IL-15 binding, signaling occurs through association with IL2RB and the common gamma chain receptor, leading to activation of JAK1, JAK3, STAT3, STAT5, PI3K/AKT, and MAPK pathways. These signaling cascades promote lymphocyte proliferation, cytotoxic activity, metabolic fitness, and long-term immune cell survival. Unlike IL-2 signaling, IL-15 preferentially supports memory T cells and NK cells without substantially expanding regulatory T cells, making IL15RA an attractive therapeutic target for enhancing antitumor immunity while limiting immune suppression. As an Immune Cell Activation Receptor Antibody, IL15RA Antibody is particularly valuable for studies examining lymphocyte activation and cytokine receptor function.
Abnormal IL15RA expression or signaling has been implicated in autoimmune disorders, chronic inflammatory diseases, viral infections, transplant rejection, leukemia, lymphoma, melanoma, and numerous solid tumors. Therapeutic strategies targeting the IL15RA pathway include recombinant IL-15/IL15RA complexes, agonists that enhance trans-presentation, and engineered cytokines designed to expand cytotoxic lymphocytes for cancer immunotherapy. Because IL15RA sits at the intersection of cytokine signaling, lymphocyte homeostasis, and immune surveillance, it has become an important biomarker and therapeutic target in both basic and translational immunology.
IL15RA Antibody, an Immune Cell Activation Receptor Antibody, provides a valuable tool for investigating IL-15 receptor expression, cytokine signaling, and immune cell function. Researchers use IL15RA Antibody to study NK cell biology, memory T-cell maintenance, immune activation, inflammatory disease, transplant immunology, and emerging immunotherapeutic approaches that harness IL-15 signaling to enhance antitumor and antiviral immunity.

Optimal dilution of the IL15RA Antibody / Immune Cell Activation Receptor Antibody should be determined by the researcher.
A recombinant human protein corresponding to amino acids I31-T174 was used as the immunogen for the IL15RA antibody.
After reconstitution, the IL15RA antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
