IL6 Antibody Human Pancreas IHC. Immunohistochemical staining of FFPE human pancreas tissue using IL6 Antibody / Interleukin-6 Antibody (clone IL6/4642) demonstrates strong cytoplasmic HRP-DAB brown staining throughout pancreatic cellular populations. The observed staining pattern is consistent with expression of IL6, a multifunctional pro-inflammatory cytokine involved in immune regulation, tissue stress responses, and inflammatory signaling pathways. Pancreatic expression of IL6 has been associated with local immune communication and inflammation-related tissue remodeling, making this tissue a valuable model for studies of cytokine biology and inflammatory disease mechanisms. Minimal staining is observed in the PBS negative control inset, supporting staining specificity. Immunohistochemical staining of FFPE COVID-positive human lung tissue using IL6 Antibody / Interleukin-6 Antibody (clone IL6/4642) demonstrates prominent cytoplasmic HRP-DAB brown staining within inflammatory cellular infiltrates and pulmonary epithelial-associated compartments. The observed staining pattern is consistent with elevated IL6 expression in an inflamed lung microenvironment and reflects the established role of this pro-inflammatory cytokine in immune activation, cytokine signaling, and regulation of pulmonary inflammatory responses. Detection of IL6 within COVID-associated lung pathology supports the utility of this antibody for investigating cytokine-driven inflammation, immune-mediated tissue injury, and mechanisms of inflammatory disease progression. Analysis of a HuProt(TM) microarray containing more than 19,000 full-length human proteins using IL-6 antibody (clone IL6/4642). Z- and S- Score: The Z-score represents the strength of a signal that a monoclonal antibody (in combination with a fluorescently-tagged anti-IgG secondary antibody) produces when binding to a particular protein on the HuProt(TM) array. Z-scores are described in units of standard deviations (SD's) above the mean value of all signals generated on that array. If targets on HuProt(TM) are arranged in descending order of the Z-score, the S-score is the difference (also in units of SD's) between the Z-score. S-score therefore represents the relative target specificity of a mAb to its intended target. A mAb is considered to specific to its intended target, if the mAb has an S-score of at least 2.5. For example, if a mAb binds to protein X with a Z-score of 43 and to protein Y with a Z-score of 14, then the S-score for the binding of that mAb to protein X is equal to 29.
