Ikbke Antibody recognizes Ikbke, also known as IKK epsilon or IKK-i, a non-canonical serine/threonine protein kinase that functions as a central regulator of innate immune signaling and antiviral defense. Ikbke is activated downstream of pattern recognition receptors, including Toll-like receptors, RIG-I-like receptors, and the cGAS-STING pathway, where it phosphorylates transcription factors such as IRF3 and IRF7 to promote expression of type I interferons and other inflammatory mediators. Through these activities, Ikbke Antibody is widely used to investigate host defense mechanisms, inflammatory signaling, and immune regulation in mouse models.
In addition to its role in innate immunity, Ikbke regulates cell proliferation, survival, autophagy, and metabolic signaling through interactions with pathways including NF-kappaB, AKT, and STAT. Aberrant Ikbke activity has been linked to tumor development, chronic inflammation, and autoimmune disease, making it an important target for studies of cancer biology and immune-mediated disorders. Functional overlap with the closely related kinase TBK1 further emphasizes the importance of Ikbke in coordinating antiviral responses while maintaining immune homeostasis.
Expression of Ikbke is induced by inflammatory cytokines, microbial products, and viral infection, allowing cells to rapidly amplify interferon signaling and innate immune responses. Because of its central position at the intersection of inflammation and antiviral defense, Ikbke has become an important therapeutic target for cancer, infectious disease, and autoimmune disorders. Ikbke Antibody therefore provides a valuable tool for investigating kinase signaling, interferon regulation, host-pathogen interactions, and inflammatory pathways.

Titration of the Ikbke antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A portion of amino acids 470-498 from the mouse protein was used as the immunogen for this Ikbke antibody.
Aliquot the Ikbke antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
