IGF2BP2 Antibody Human Ovarian Cancer IHC. Immunohistochemical staining of FFPE human ovarian cancer tissue with IGF2BP2 antibody at 2 ug/ml. Heat-induced epitope retrieval (HIER) was performed by boiling tissue sections in pH 8 EDTA buffer prior to staining. IGF2BP2 immunoreactivity is observed predominantly within the cytoplasm of malignant epithelial cells, consistent with the expected localization of this RNA binding protein, which regulates messenger RNA stability, translation, and m6A-dependent post-transcriptional gene expression. Cell nuclei are counterstained with hematoxylin (blue).
IGF2BP2 Antibody A549 Cell IF. Immunofluorescent staining of A549 cells with IGF2BP2 antibody (green) at 5 ug/ml. Enzymatic antigen retrieval was performed for 15 minutes prior to staining. Nuclei are counterstained with DAPI (blue). IGF2BP2 immunoreactivity is observed predominantly within the cytoplasm, consistent with the expected localization of this RNA binding protein, which regulates messenger RNA stability, translation, localization, and m6A-dependent post-transcriptional gene expression.
IGF2BP2 Antibody Human, Rat and Mouse WB. Western blot testing of 1) human Caco-2, 2) human HepG2, 3) human K562, 4) human HEL, 5) rat C6, 6) mouse testis, and 7) mouse NIH/3T3 lysates with IGF2BP2 antibody at 0.5 ug/ml. A distinct immunoreactive band is detected at approximately 66 kDa in all samples, consistent with the predicted molecular weight of IGF2BP2. The results demonstrate specific detection of this RNA binding protein, which regulates messenger RNA stability, localization, translation, and m6A-dependent post-transcriptional gene expression.

Description

IGF2BP2 Antibody recognizes Insulin Like Growth Factor 2 mRNA Binding Protein 2 (IGF2BP2), a highly conserved RNA binding protein that regulates the stability, localization, translation, and turnover of target messenger RNAs. IGF2BP2 belongs to the IGF2BP family of post-transcriptional regulators and contains multiple RNA recognition motifs and K homology domains that enable selective binding to thousands of transcripts. More recently, IGF2BP2 has emerged as an important reader of N6-methyladenosine (m6A)-modified RNA, where it stabilizes methylated transcripts and promotes their translation. Consequently, IGF2BP2 Antibody is widely used to investigate RNA metabolism, post-transcriptional gene regulation, development, metabolism, and cancer biology.

IGF2BP2 is expressed in numerous tissues and plays essential roles during embryonic development, stem cell maintenance, cellular differentiation, and metabolic regulation. By controlling the fate of transcripts encoding growth factors, transcription factors, metabolic enzymes, and signaling proteins, IGF2BP2 influences cell proliferation, migration, survival, and energy homeostasis. It also participates in insulin signaling, glucose metabolism, and mitochondrial function, linking RNA regulation to whole-body metabolic control. Because IGF2BP2 integrates RNA processing with diverse cellular pathways, IGF2BP2 Antibody has become an important tool for studies of RNA biology and gene expression regulation.

Aberrant IGF2BP2 expression has been associated with numerous human diseases, including type 2 diabetes, obesity, fatty liver disease, cardiovascular disorders, and many cancers such as hepatocellular carcinoma, colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer, ovarian cancer, and leukemia. Elevated IGF2BP2 frequently promotes tumor growth by stabilizing oncogenic messenger RNAs and enhancing malignant cell proliferation, invasion, metastasis, and therapeutic resistance. Ongoing research continues to identify IGF2BP2 as an important biomarker and potential therapeutic target in both metabolic disease and oncology.

NSJ Bioreagents offers highly validated IGF2BP2 Antibody products for reliable detection of endogenous IGF2BP2 in human and animal samples. These antibodies support investigations into RNA binding proteins, mRNA stability, m6A-dependent gene regulation, cellular metabolism, developmental biology, and cancer while providing dependable performance across western blotting, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, flow cytometry, immunoprecipitation, and other research applications.
