Description

This gene encodes a subunit of the intraflagellar transport subcomplex IFT-B. Subcomplexes IFT-A and IFT-B are necessary for ciliary assembly and maintenance. Mutations in this gene have been associated with skeletal ciliopathies, with or without polydactyly, such as such short-rib thoracic dysplasias 1, 9 or 10.

Optimal dilution of the IFT172 antibody should be determined by the researcher.

An E.coli-derived human recombinant protein (amino acids D1505-Q1736) was used as the immunogen for the IFT172 antibody.

Storage

After reconstitution, the IFT172 Antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
