IFN gamma is an inflammatory cytokine that has been implicated in the development of fibrosis in inflamed tissues. IFN gamma is also produced by natural killer (NK) cells and most prominently by CD8 cytotoxic T cells, and is vital for the control of microbial pathogens. Interferon gamma is believed to be crucial for host defence against many infections.
Titration of the IFN gamma antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
Rat partial recombinant protein (AA 23-156) was used as the immunogen for this IFN gamma antibody.
The IFN gamma antibody can be stored at 4oC to -20oC. After reconstitution, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freeze/thaws.
