HSPB1 (Heat shock 27kDa protein 1), also known as HSP27, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the HSPB1 gene. The protein encoded by this gene is induced by environmental stress and developmental changes. HSP27 is involved in stress resistance and actin organization and translocates from the cytoplasm to the nucleus upon stress induction. Defects in this gene are a cause of Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease type 2F (CMT2F) and distal hereditary motor neuropathy (dHMN).
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting amounts. Titration of the HSP27 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
Human partial recombinant protein (AA 1-205) was used as the immunogen for this HSP27 antibody.
After reconstitution, the HSP27 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
