Hypoxanthine-guanine phosphoribosyltransferase is a transferase, which catalyzes conversion of hypoxanthine to inosine monophosphate and guanine to guanosine monophosphate via transfer of the 5-phosphoribosyl group from 5-phosphoribosyl 1-pyrophosphate. This enzyme plays a central role in the generation of purine nucleotides through the purine salvage pathway.
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting points. Titration of the HPRT1 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A portion of amino acids 150-178 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the HPRT1 antibody.
Aliquot the HPRT1 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
