HOXA9 is part of the A cluster of the homeobox family of DNA-binding transcription factors. This protein may play a role in gene expression, morphogenesis, and embryonic development. It and the fusion oncogene NUP98-HOXA9 have been implicated in leukemia. SMAD4 has been shown to negatively regulate HOXA9-mediated leukemia stem cell growth.
Provided assay concentrations are suggestions only, HOXA9 antibody titration may be required for optimal results.
A recombinant protein fragment from the N-terminal region of human HOXA9 was used as the immunogen for this antibody.
