Description

Protein Hook homolog 2 (HK2) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the HOOK2 gene. This gene is mapped to 19p13.13. Hook proteins are cytosolic coiled-coil proteins that contain conserved N-terminal domains, which attach to microtubules, and more divergent C-terminal domains, which mediate binding to organelles. The Drosophila Hook protein is a component of the endocytic compartment.

Optimal dilution of the HOOK2 antibody should be determined by the researcher.

Immunogen

Amino acids E500-R702 from the human protein were used as the immunogen for the HOOK2 antibody.

Storage

After reconstitution, the HOOK2 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
