HMGB1 is a promoter of the immune response to injury or infection. It is released from dying cells (necrotic, not apoptotic), activating the immune system in anticipation of infection and encouraging tissue repair by attracting and promoting the proliferation of stem cells.
Provided assay concentrations are suggestions only, HMGB1 antibody titration may be required for optimal results.
Recombinant human HMGB1 was used as the immunogen for this antibody.
Aliquot the HMGB1 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
