Description

HIC2 Antibody specifically detects Hypermethylated in cancer 2 protein. HIC2 (HIC ZBTB Transcriptional Repressor 2) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with HIC2 include Orofaciodigital Syndrome X and Simpson-Golabi-Behmel Syndrome, Type 1. HIC2 contains 5 C2H2-type zinc fingers and 1 BTB (POZ) domain. It belongs to the krueppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family, Hic subfamily and is a transcriptional repressor. It is a transcription activator of SIRT1.
