Description

Transcription factor HES-5 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the HES5 gene. This gene encodes a member of a family of basic helix-loop-helix transcriptional repressors. The protein product of this gene, which is activated downstream of the Notch pathway, regulates cell differentiation in multiple tissues. Disruptions in the normal expression of this gene have been associated with developmental diseases and cancer.

Application Notes

Optimal dilution of the HES5 antibody should be determined by the researcher.

Immunogen

Recombinant human protein (amino acids M1-R121) was used as the immunogen for the HES5 antibody.

Storage

After reconstitution, the HES5 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
