This gene is one of three related genes that have 2-hydroxyacid oxidase activity. The encoded protein localizes to the peroxisome has the highest activity toward the substrate 2-hydroxypalmitate. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

Immunogen

An E.coli-derived human recombinant protein (amino acids R50-L351) was used as the immunogen for the HAOX2 antibody.

Storage

After reconstitution, the HAOX2 Antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
