Glutathione peroxidase 7 protects esophageal epithelia from hydrogen peroxide- induced oxidative stress. It suppresses acidic bile acid-induced reactive oxigen species (ROS) and protects against oxidative DNA damage and double-strand breaks.
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting points. Titration of the GPX7 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A portion of amino acids 73-107 from human Glutathione peroxidase 7 was used as the immunogen for the GPX7 antibody.
