Guanine nucleotide-binding proteins (G proteins) are involved as a modulator or transducer in various transmembrane signaling systems. The beta and gamma chains are required for the GTPase activity, for replacement of GDP by GTP, and for G protein- effector interaction.
Titration of the GNG12 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A portion of amino acids 37-68 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the GNG12 antibody.
Aliquot the GNG12 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
