May play a role in craniofacial development and digital development, as well as development of the central nervous system and gastrointestinal tract. Mediates SHH signaling and thus cell proliferation and differentiation.
Titration of the GLI1 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A portion of amino acids 196-230 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the GLI1 antibody.
