GIMAP5 Antibody HeLa Cell IF. Immunofluorescence analysis of HeLa cells using GIMAP5 Antibody. Cells were treated with enzyme antigen retrieval reagent for 15 minutes prior to blocking with goat serum and overnight incubation with primary antibody (5 ug/mL) at 4°C. Fluoro488-conjugated secondary antibody was used for detection, and DAPI (blue) was used as a nuclear counterstain. Diffuse cytoplasmic staining is observed throughout the cells, consistent with the intracellular localization of GIMAP5 as an immunity-associated GTPase involved in lymphocyte survival and immune homeostasis. These results support the use of GIMAP5 Antibody / GTPase IMAP Family Member 5 for studying GIMAP5 expression, intracellular localization and immune signaling pathways.
GIMAP5 Antibody Jurkat Cell IP. Immunoprecipitation of GIMAP5 from Jurkat whole cell lysate using GIMAP5 Antibody, followed by Western blot analysis with the same antibody. Lane 1: Jurkat input lysate (30 ug); Lane 2: rabbit control IgG immunoprecipitation; Lane 3: GIMAP5 immunoprecipitation using 2 ug of GIMAP5 Antibody from 500 ug of Jurkat lysate. A specific band is detected at approximately 35 kDa in the input and GIMAP5 immunoprecipitation samples, while no corresponding band is observed in the control IgG lane, confirming specific enrichment of GIMAP5. These results support the use of GIMAP5 Antibody / GTPase IMAP Family Member 5 for immunoprecipitation, protein interaction studies and immune signaling research.
GIMAP5 Antibody Human Immune Tissue WB. Western blot analysis using GIMAP5 Antibody. Lane 1: human Jurkat cells; Lane 2: human HeLa cells; Lane 3: rat thymus tissue; Lane 4: rat spleen tissue. A specific band is detected at approximately 35 kDa in Jurkat cells and rat lymphoid tissues, consistent with the expected molecular weight of GIMAP5, while little to no signal is observed in HeLa cells. This expression pattern is consistent with the preferential expression of GIMAP5 in lymphoid cells and tissues. These results support the use of GIMAP5 Antibody / GTPase IMAP Family Member 5 for studying lymphocyte biology, immune homeostasis and GTPase-mediated signaling.

Description

GIMAP5 Antibody / GTPase IMAP Family Member 5 detects GIMAP5, a member of the GTPase of immunity-associated proteins (GIMAP) family that is predominantly expressed in lymphocytes and plays a critical role in immune cell survival and homeostasis. GIMAP5 is a small GTP-binding protein localized primarily to intracellular membrane compartments where it regulates lymphocyte maintenance, mitochondrial integrity and cell survival signaling. Because of its essential function in maintaining normal T cell populations, GIMAP5 Antibody / GTPase IMAP Family Member 5 is widely used in immunology, hematology and autoimmune disease research.

GIMAP5 is highly expressed in T lymphocytes and natural killer cells, where it supports long-term cell survival by regulating mitochondrial function, calcium homeostasis and resistance to apoptosis. Loss of GIMAP5 activity results in progressive lymphopenia and impaired immune competence in both animal models and humans, highlighting its importance in adaptive immunity. Through interactions with signaling pathways that govern lymphocyte metabolism and survival, GIMAP5 contributes to immune system development and the maintenance of functional peripheral lymphocyte populations. GIMAP5 Antibody / GTPase IMAP Family Member 5 provides a valuable tool for investigating these fundamental immune regulatory mechanisms.

Genetic variants affecting GIMAP5 have been associated with several immune-mediated disorders, including systemic lupus erythematosus, type 1 diabetes, asthma and other autoimmune diseases. Altered GIMAP5 expression has also been investigated in chronic inflammatory conditions, immune deficiency syndromes and hematologic malignancies where lymphocyte survival and function are disrupted. As interest in immune regulation and lymphocyte biology continues to expand, GIMAP5 has emerged as an important biomarker for studies examining immune homeostasis, disease susceptibility and therapeutic intervention.

As a member of the immunity-associated GTPase family, GIMAP5 functions alongside related GIMAP proteins that collectively regulate lymphocyte development, maturation and survival. Careful detection of GIMAP5 is important for distinguishing its expression from other closely related family members when studying immune signaling networks and lymphocyte biology. This page features clone GIMAP5/3490, a mouse monoclonal antibody that has been Protein Microarray Validated, providing additional confidence in target specificity for research applications.

NSJ Bioreagents offers GIMAP5 Antibody / GTPase IMAP Family Member 5 products for researchers studying lymphocyte biology, immune regulation and autoimmune disease. These antibodies support applications including Western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence and flow cytometry analysis of GIMAP5 expression and localization. GIMAP5 Antibody / GTPase IMAP Family Member 5 provides a valuable tool for investigating T cell survival, immune homeostasis and GTPase-mediated signaling pathways.

Researchers studying lymphocyte biology and immune regulation may also be interested in our Immunology Antibodies page, featuring antibodies against T cell markers, immune signaling proteins and other regulators of innate and adaptive immune responses.
