This gene encodes a protein which belongs to the GATA family of transcription factors. The protein contains two GATA-type zinc fingers and is an important regulator of T-cell development and plays an important role in endothelial cell biology. Defects in this gene are the cause of hypoparathyroidism with sensorineural deafness and renal dysplasia.
For highly selective detection of GATA3 in breast lineage-associated and epithelial differentiation studies, see the GATA3 Antibody / Breast Lineage Marker Antibody clone GATA3/2444 featuring protein microarray specificity validation.
Titration of the GATA3 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A portion of amino acids 235-263 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for this GATA3 antibody.
Aliquot the GATA3 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
