FRZB Antibody / Secreted Wnt Antagonist Antibody recognizes Frizzled Related Protein (FRZB), a secreted glycoprotein that functions as an extracellular antagonist of Wnt signaling. By binding Wnt ligands through its frizzled-like cysteine-rich domain, FRZB prevents activation of Wnt receptors and modulates signaling pathways that regulate cell proliferation, differentiation and tissue morphogenesis. As an important extracellular regulator of canonical and non-canonical Wnt signaling, FRZB contributes to embryonic development, skeletal formation and tissue homeostasis. NSJ Bioreagents provides FRZB antibodies for investigations of developmental biology, extracellular signaling and Wnt pathway regulation.
FRZB is highly expressed in cartilage, developing skeletal tissues and other connective tissues where precise regulation of Wnt signaling is required for normal growth and differentiation. The protein influences chondrocyte maturation, bone remodeling and joint maintenance by balancing osteogenic and chondrogenic signaling pathways. In addition to its developmental functions, FRZB participates in tissue repair and extracellular matrix homeostasis, helping coordinate cellular responses during growth and regeneration. These diverse activities make FRZB an important regulator of musculoskeletal biology and extracellular communication.
Altered FRZB expression has been associated with osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, cancer and other disorders involving dysregulated Wnt signaling. Reduced FRZB activity may enhance Wnt pathway activation, contributing to abnormal cell proliferation, cartilage degeneration and tumor progression, while increased expression has been linked to modulation of tissue remodeling and metastatic potential in several cancers. Consequently, FRZB has become an important research target in orthopedic biology, regenerative medicine, oncology and developmental genetics.
A FRZB Antibody is a valuable reagent for detecting this extracellular Wnt signaling regulator by Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, immunoprecipitation and related immunoassays. By enabling reliable analysis of protein expression and localization, a FRZB Antibody supports investigations of Wnt signaling, skeletal development, cartilage biology and extracellular pathway regulation.

Optimal dilution of the FRZB Antibody / Secreted Wnt Antagonist Antibody should be determined by the researcher.
Amino acids N49-K311 from the mouse protein were used as the immunogen for the FRZB antibody.
After reconstitution, the FRZB antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
