FBJ murine osteosarcoma viral oncogene homolog B is a protein that in humans is encoded by the FOSB gene. It is a member of Fos gene family which consists of 4 members: FOS, FOSB, FOSL1, and FOSL2. The proteins have been implicated as regulators of cell proliferation, differentiation, and transformation. Delta FOSB is a truncated splice variant of FOSB. It has been implicated in the development of drug addiction and control of the reward system in the brain, and is linked to changes in a number of other gene products such as CREB and sirtuins. It also regulates the commitment of mesenchymal precursor cells to the adipocyte or osteoblast lineage.
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting amounts. Titration of the FosB antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
An amino acid sequence from the N-terminus of human FosB (MFQAFPGDYDSGSRC) was used as the immunogen for this FosB antibody (100% homologous in human, mouse and rat).
After reconstitution, the FosB antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
