EPS8L1 Antibody / EPS8 signaling adaptor L1 Antibody targets a protein with important roles in cellular biology. EPS8 signaling adaptor L1 (EPS8L1) is a member of the EPS8 family of proteins involved in actin cytoskeleton regulation. Actin filaments support cell shape, adhesion, membrane protrusion and directed movement, and their organization depends on proteins that control filament growth, bundling and turnover. EPS8-family members contain interaction modules that connect actin dynamics with signaling proteins, although their specific activities and tissue distributions are not identical.
EPS8L1 is related to EPS8, a protein known for roles in actin filament regulation and receptor-associated signaling. Shared structural features suggest that EPS8L1 can participate in complexes linking cellular signals to cytoskeletal rearrangements. However, findings established for EPS8 should not automatically be attributed to EPS8L1 without direct confirmation. Its functions depend on the binding partners present and on the architecture of the actin networks being remodeled.
Reorganization of the actin cytoskeleton is central to epithelial morphogenesis, cell migration and the maintenance of specialized membrane structures. Proteins that connect signaling to actin assembly can affect these processes by changing the distribution and stability of filaments rather than altering actin abundance itself. EPS8L1 has been investigated in the context of these cytoskeletal processes, and defining its molecular partners remains important for distinguishing its contribution from those of related adaptor proteins.
NSJ Bioreagents offers this EPS8L1 Antibody to support research into how EPS8L1-associated protein interactions shape actin organization and cellular morphology. Further work on its regulatory partners and actin-related activities may clarify the distinct roles of EPS8-family proteins in dynamic cell structures.
