ENDOD1 Antibody by FCM in Fixed Jurkat Cells. Flow cytometry analysis of fixed Jurkat cells stained with ENDOD1 Antibody. The blue histogram represents antibody-labeled cells, the green histogram is the rabbit IgG isotype control, and the red histogram is the unstained blank control. The antibody-labeled population is shifted to higher fluorescence intensity than the isotype control. Cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and incubated with the primary antibody, followed by a Fluoro488-conjugated goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody. This assay evaluates intracellular ENDOD1 detection in fixed cells and does not establish live-cell surface labeling.
ENDOD1 Antibody by IHC in Human Ovarian Cancer Tissue. Immunohistochemistry analysis of ENDOD1 in a paraffin-embedded human ovarian cancer tissue section using ENDOD1 Antibody. Brown DAB immunoreactivity is present in numerous epithelial tumor cells, with variable intensity across the section. Hematoxylin counterstaining highlights blue-purple nuclei, while areas of intervening connective tissue show comparatively limited staining. The visible staining pattern is described without assigning the signal to a specific subcellular organelle.
ENDOD1 Antibody by IHC in Human Prostatic Hyperplasia Tissue. Immunohistochemistry analysis of ENDOD1 in a paraffin-embedded section of human prostatic hyperplasia tissue using ENDOD1 Antibody. Brown DAB labeling is visible along the glandular epithelial lining, with stronger staining in portions of the epithelium than in adjacent stromal regions. Hematoxylin counterstaining identifies the nuclei. The section contains multiple glandular profiles with luminal spaces, providing an anatomical context for the observed immunoreactivity.
ENDOD1 Antibody by IF in HaCaT Cells. Immunofluorescence analysis of HaCaT cells labeled with ENDOD1 Antibody. Green fluorescence is visible within the cell bodies, with a relatively faint and heterogeneous distribution across the field. Nuclei are counterstained blue. The image supports detection of ENDOD1-associated immunofluorescence under the reported staining conditions but does not independently establish a specific organelle localization.
ENDOD1 Antibody by WB in Human Cell Lysates. Western blot analysis of ENDOD1 in human whole-cell lysates using ENDOD1 Antibody. Lane 1 contains 293T cells, lane 2 contains RT4 cells, and lane 3 contains Jurkat cells. A band is visible near 55 kDa in all three lanes, consistent with the calculated molecular weight of ENDOD1. Additional higher-molecular-weight immunoreactivity is visible in some lanes; its identity is not established by this blot. The image documents recognition of an approximately 55 kDa protein in the three tested human cell lines, with the strongest conclusions limited to the observed band position and sample identities.

Description

ENDOD1 Antibody / Endonuclease domain-containing 1 protein Antibody targets ENDOD1, a protein with an endonuclease-related domain that has been implicated in cellular responses to DNA damage. Genome maintenance depends on coordinated recognition and processing of DNA lesions generated during replication, oxidative stress, and exposure to damaging agents. Proteins with nuclease-like domains can contribute to these pathways, although the presence of such a domain does not establish a particular physiological DNA substrate.

ENDOD1 has attracted interest because experimental perturbation of its expression can affect cellular survival in genetic backgrounds with compromised DNA repair. Studies have described synthetic-lethal relationships between ENDOD1 deficiency and defects in homologous recombination-associated pathways, including contexts involving BRCA1 or BRCA2. Synthetic lethality occurs when simultaneous disruption of two functions compromises viability even though loss of either function alone may be tolerated. Such relationships can reveal previously unrecognized dependencies within the networks that preserve genome integrity.

The molecular basis of ENDOD1-associated DNA repair phenotypes remains an important question. Cellular DNA damage responses involve nucleases, helicases, polymerases, checkpoint proteins, and chromatin regulators whose activities are tightly coordinated in time and space. A phenotype caused by ENDOD1 depletion may therefore reflect direct processing of nucleic acids, altered recruitment of repair factors, or an indirect consequence of disrupted cellular regulation. Defining endogenous substrates and catalytic requirements is necessary to distinguish among these possibilities.

NSJ Bioreagents offers this ENDOD1 Antibody to support research into ENDOD1 expression and its connections to DNA repair dependencies. A clearer understanding of how ENDOD1 contributes to cellular tolerance of genomic lesions could illuminate vulnerabilities that emerge when established repair pathways are impaired.
