INT6 Antibody Daudi Cell WB. Western blot analysis was performed on Daudi cell lysate using INT6 Antibody at 0.03 ug/ml. A specific immunoreactive band is detected at approximately 48-52 kDa, consistent with the expected molecular weight of INT6 (EIF3E). The blot demonstrates strong target detection with minimal background, supporting the sensitivity of the antibody at a low working concentration. These results demonstrate that this EIF3E Antibody is suitable for Western blot detection of endogenous INT6 in human Daudi cells.

Description

INT6 Antibody recognizes INT6, the historical name for eukaryotic translation initiation factor 3 subunit E (EIF3E), an essential component of the eukaryotic translation initiation factor 3 complex. EIF3E participates in assembly of the translation pre-initiation complex and promotes efficient recruitment of messenger RNA to the ribosome during protein synthesis. As a multifunctional protein, INT6 also contributes to cellular signaling pathways that regulate proliferation, differentiation, and stress responses. NSJ Bioreagents supplies INT6 Antibody for dependable detection of this important translation initiation factor in a wide range of research applications.

INT6 was originally identified as a common integration site for mouse mammary tumor virus, leading to its initial characterization in cancer biology before its molecular identity as EIF3E was established. Subsequent studies demonstrated that INT6 functions as a core member of the eIF3 complex while also participating in proteasome regulation, DNA damage responses, and cell cycle control. These diverse biological roles make EIF3E an important link between translational regulation and maintenance of cellular homeostasis. Consequently, INT6 Antibody is widely used to investigate protein synthesis, ribosome-associated processes, and mechanisms controlling gene expression.

Aberrant expression or regulation of EIF3E has been reported in numerous malignancies, including breast, lung, colorectal, and ovarian cancers. Depending on the cellular context, INT6 has been described as exhibiting both tumor suppressive and oncogenic functions through its influence on selective messenger RNA translation and signaling networks that regulate cell survival. Beyond oncology, EIF3E continues to be investigated in developmental biology, neurobiology, and cellular stress research because precise regulation of translation initiation is fundamental to normal cell physiology. Researchers therefore use antibodies against INT6 to study both normal cellular function and disease-associated translational dysregulation.

An INT6 Antibody is a valuable reagent for investigations of translation initiation, ribosome function, protein synthesis, and cancer biology. By recognizing the protein known as both INT6 and EIF3E, an INT6 Antibody supports research spanning translational regulation, cellular homeostasis, and disease mechanisms.
