EIF3D Antibody by IHC in human placenta. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded human placenta using Eukaryotic translation initiation factor 3 subunit D Antibody shows brown cytoplasmic staining in cells of chorionic villi. Blue hematoxylin-stained nuclei are visible within the villous structures, and the surrounding pale spaces help distinguish individual tissue profiles. Antigen retrieval was performed in EDTA buffer, pH 8.0, followed by overnight primary antibody incubation at 2 ug/mL at 4oC and HRP/DAB detection. The staining pattern is consistent with EIF3D-associated immunoreactivity in placental tissue.
EIF3D Antibody by WB in human and rat cells. Western blot analysis using Eukaryotic translation initiation factor 3 subunit D Antibody detects immunoreactive bands in human THP-1 (lane 1), human HEL (lane 2), and rat RH35 (lane 3) cell lysates. A strong band near 55-60 kDa is visible in the human samples, with a nearby higher-migrating component especially evident in HEL cells; rat RH35 shows a band near 60 kDa. EIF3D has a predicted molecular mass around 64 kDa, and the observed signals fall in its expected migration region. Reduced samples containing 30 ug protein per lane were resolved by 10% SDS-PAGE, with primary antibody incubation at 0.5 ug/mL overnight at 4oC.
EIF3D Antibody by IHC in human testicular carcinoma. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded human testicular carcinoma using Eukaryotic translation initiation factor 3 subunit D Antibody demonstrates heterogeneous brown immunoreactivity within the densely cellular tumor tissue. Staining is visible in the cytoplasmic regions of numerous cells, while hematoxylin counterstaining provides blue nuclear contrast. A prominent tissue structure is surrounded by additional tumor cells with variable staining intensity. Sections underwent EDTA buffer antigen retrieval, pH 8.0, followed by overnight incubation with primary antibody at 2 ug/mL at 4oC and HRP/DAB development. The image provides a second tissue context for EIF3D-associated staining.

Description

EIF3D Antibody / Eukaryotic translation initiation factor 3 subunit D Antibody detects EIF3D, a large multiprotein complex involved in the initiation of protein synthesis. Translation initiation requires the coordinated recruitment of ribosomal subunits, initiation factors, and messenger RNA. The eIF3 complex acts as an organizational platform during these early steps and helps regulate the formation of initiation-competent ribosomal assemblies. EIF3D is one of the constituent subunits that contributes to the architecture and specialized functions of this complex. Its role places it at a critical point between messenger RNA availability and protein production.

Although canonical translation often depends on recognition of the messenger RNA cap by eIF4E, EIF3D has also been implicated in alternative cap-dependent initiation mechanisms. Structural and biochemical studies indicate that EIF3D can participate in direct recognition of the mRNA cap in particular contexts, helping recruit selected transcripts for translation. This specialized activity illustrates that individual eIF3 subunits may contribute functions beyond simply maintaining the integrity of the larger complex. The extent of EIF3D-dependent initiation varies with transcript features and cellular conditions, so it should not be assumed to replace conventional initiation universally.

Translation control enables cells to adjust protein synthesis during growth, differentiation, and stress. Alterations in initiation-factor activity can affect the relative production of proteins involved in proliferation and survival. EIF3D is therefore relevant to questions about selective messenger RNA translation and the molecular basis of translational regulation. The Eukaryotic translation initiation factor 3 subunit D Antibody designation refers specifically to EIF3D, not to the eIF3 complex as a whole. NSJ Bioreagents offers the EIF3D Antibody in connection with this fundamental component of protein synthesis regulation. An EIF3D Antibody is relevant to understanding the molecular functions and regulatory pathways associated with EIF3D.
