Description

DKK-1 is a protein that is a member of the dickkopf family. It is a secreted protein with two cysteine rich regions and is involved in embryonic development through its inhibition of the WNT signaling pathway. Elevated levels of DKK-1 in bone marrow plasma and peripheral blood is associated with the presence of osteolytic bone lesions in patients with multiple myeloma.

Application Notes

Titration of the DKK-1 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.

Immunogen

A portion of amino acids 58-84 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for this DKK-1 antibody.

Storage

Aliquot the DKK-1 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
