REST corepressor 1 also known as CoREST is a protein that in humans is encoded by the RCOR1 gene. This gene encodes a protein that is well-conserved, downregulated at birth, and with a specific role in determining neural cell differentiation. The encoded protein binds to the C-terminal domain of REST (repressor element-1 silencing transcription factor).
Optimal dilution of the CoREST antibody should be determined by the researcher.
E. coli-derived recombinant human protein (amino acids N270-S485) was used as the immunogen for the CoREST antibody.
After reconstitution, the CoREST antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
