CEP55 Antibody Human Colon Cancer IHC. Immunohistochemical staining of FFPE human colon cancer tissue using CEP55 antibody at 2 ug/ml following heat-induced epitope retrieval in pH8 EDTA buffer. Detection was performed using an HRP-conjugated secondary antibody with DAB chromogen. CEP55 Antibody / Cytokinesis Protein Antibody recognizes CEP55, a centrosome-associated protein that plays an essential role during the final stages of cell division. Although initially identified as a centrosomal protein, CEP55 is now best known for its critical function at the midbody during cytokinesis, where it coordinates the recruitment of protein complexes required for membrane abscission and successful separation of daughter cells. Expression of CEP55 is tightly regulated throughout the cell cycle, reaching its highest levels during mitosis and cytokinesis.
