CD45RA antibody recognizes CD45RA, an isoform of Protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type C that plays a pivotal role in lymphocyte signaling. Encoded by the PTPRC gene, CD45 is expressed on the surface of most hematopoietic cells and is critical for maintaining proper immune responses. CD45RA antibody selectively detects the RA isoform, which is predominantly expressed on naive T lymphocytes prior to antigen-driven differentiation.
The CD45 protein contains an extracellular domain subject to alternative splicing, a single transmembrane helix, and two cytoplasmic phosphatase domains responsible for modulating phosphorylation events. Inclusion of exon A defines the CD45RA isoform. Through dephosphorylation of regulatory tyrosines on Src family kinases, CD45 facilitates T cell receptor signal propagation. CD45RA antibody is commonly used to evaluate lymphocyte subsets in studies of immune activation, aging, and disease.
Aberrant CD45 expression patterns have been reported in leukemias and lymphoproliferative disorders. CD45RA antibody supports research focused on immune phenotyping, lymphocyte trafficking, and tumor-associated immune infiltration.
Optimal dilution of the CD45RA antibody should be determined by the researcher.
A recombinant partial protein sequence (within amino acids 1-600) from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the CD45RA antibody.
Aliquot the CD45RA antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
