CD44 Antibody Laryngeal Squamous Cell Carcinoma IHC. Immunohistochemistry analysis of CD44 / CD44 antigen expression in FFPE human laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma tissue using antibody. Strong membranous HRP-DAB brown staining is observed in malignant squamous epithelial cells, outlining cell borders and highlighting cell surface localization consistent with CD44 expression. The staining pattern demonstrates cohesive tumor architecture and supports its use for evaluating epithelial organization and CD44-associated cell adhesion in squamous cell carcinoma. Heat induced epitope retrieval was performed by boiling tissue sections in pH 8 EDTA for 20 min followed by cooling before testing.
CD44 Antibody Rectal Cancer IHC. Immunohistochemistry analysis of CD44 / CD44 antigen expression in FFPE human rectal cancer tissue using antibody. Membranous HRP-DAB brown staining is observed in tumor epithelial cells, outlining cell borders and highlighting cell surface localization consistent with CD44 expression. The staining pattern demonstrates heterogeneous intensity across tumor regions and supports its use for evaluating CD44 distribution, tumor cell organization, and microenvironment-associated expression in colorectal carcinoma tissue. Heat induced epitope retrieval was performed by boiling tissue sections in pH 8 EDTA for 20 min followed by cooling before testing.
CD44 Antibody Rat Lung IHC. Immunohistochemistry analysis of CD44 / CD44 antigen expression in FFPE rat lung tissue using antibody. Membranous HRP-DAB brown staining is observed in scattered epithelial and interstitial cells, highlighting cell surface localization consistent with CD44 expression. The staining pattern demonstrates regional distribution across alveolar structures and supports its use for evaluating CD44 expression and cellular organization in lung tissue. Heat induced epitope retrieval was performed by boiling tissue sections in pH 8 EDTA for 20 min followed by cooling before testing.
CD44 Antibody Human and Rat Cell Line WB. Western blot analysis of CD44 / CD44 antigen expression in multiple lysates using antibody. Lane 1: human HeLa cell lysate, Lane 2: rat PC-12 cell lysate. A band is detected at approximately 80-95 kDa, consistent with the predicted molecular weight of CD44 (CD44 / CD44 antigen). CD44 is a glycosylated transmembrane protein, and higher apparent molecular weight bands may be observed due to variable glycosylation of the extracellular domain. The detected signal supports CD44 expression across species and is consistent with its role as a broadly expressed cell surface adhesion molecule.
CD44 Antibody HL60 Cell FACS. Flow cytometry analysis of CD44 / CD44 antigen expression in human HL60 cells using rabbit polyclonal antibody at 1 ug per million cells following blocking with goat sera. The CD44 antibody-stained population (blue) demonstrates a clear right-shift compared to cells alone (red) and isotype control (green), indicating strong cell surface expression of CD44. The distinct separation between populations supports its use for identifying, gating, and quantifying CD44-positive leukocyte populations in flow cytometry assays.

Description

CD44 antigen (CD44) is a transmembrane glycoprotein of the CD44 family that functions as a receptor for hyaluronic acid and mediates cell adhesion, migration, and extracellular matrix interactions. It is broadly expressed on hematopoietic cells, including leukocyte populations, where it plays a central role in cell adhesion and interaction with the extracellular environment. CD44 Antibody for FACS HL60 / Leukocyte Marker Antibody is designed to detect CD44 expression in flow cytometry applications, enabling quantitative analysis of cell surface localization and identification of CD44-positive leukocyte populations.

CD44 antibody, also referred to as CD44 antigen antibody or Hermes antigen antibody, recognizes a cell surface glycoprotein involved in leukocyte adhesion, migration, and tissue homing. HL60 cells, a human promyelocytic leukemia cell line, are widely used as a model for hematopoietic differentiation and leukocyte biology. Detection of CD44 in HL60 cells provides a robust system for evaluating cell surface expression and receptor accessibility in flow cytometry-based assays, particularly in studies of differentiation and lineage-associated changes in surface marker expression.

Functionally, CD44 mediates binding to hyaluronic acid and other extracellular matrix components, supporting leukocyte adhesion, migration, and interaction with endothelial and stromal environments. These processes are critical for immune cell trafficking and localization within tissues. In flow cytometry applications, CD44 staining typically produces a clearly defined right-shifted fluorescence population compared to negative controls, indicating strong cell surface expression. This CD44 Antibody for FACS HL60 is particularly suited for identifying, gating, and quantifying CD44-expressing leukocyte populations and for analyzing expression changes associated with differentiation, activation, or experimental manipulation.

CD44 expression in HL60 cells provides a useful model for studying leukocyte surface marker dynamics within hematopoietic systems. Detection of CD44 in this context supports research into immune cell biology, differentiation pathways, and adhesion-related processes. The use of a rabbit polyclonal antibody enables sensitive detection of CD44 across heterogeneous leukocyte populations in flow cytometry assays.

Structurally, CD44 is encoded on chromosome 11p13 and consists of an extracellular ligand-binding domain, a transmembrane segment, and a cytoplasmic tail involved in intracellular signaling and cytoskeletal interactions. Alternative splicing generates multiple CD44 isoforms that retain core functional properties while contributing to biological diversity. An antibody targeting CD44 is suitable for detecting membrane-associated expression and studying leukocyte surface markers in flow cytometry and related research applications.

This CD44 antibody is part of a broader CD44 antibody panel offered by NSJ Bioreagents.
