CD151 Antibody Human Ovarian Cancer IHC. Immunohistochemical staining of FFPE human ovarian cancer tissue using CD151 Antibody following heat-induced epitope retrieval in pH8 EDTA buffer. The tissue was incubated with the primary antibody at 2 ug/ml and detected using an HRP-conjugated secondary antibody with DAB chromogen. CD151 immunoreactivity is observed predominantly along the cell membrane with additional cytoplasmic staining in the neoplastic epithelial cells, consistent with the known localization of this tetraspanin family member. These findings demonstrate that this CD151 Antibody, a Tetraspanin Cell Adhesion Protein Antibody, is suitable for immunohistochemical detection of endogenous CD151 in FFPE human ovarian cancer tissue.
CD151 Antibody Human, Mouse and Rat WB. Western blot analysis of human, rat, and mouse cell lysates using CD151 Antibody. Lane 1: A549 human lung carcinoma cells. Lane 2: HepG2 human hepatocellular carcinoma cells. Lane 3: PC-12 rat pheochromocytoma cells. Lane 4: RH35 rat hepatoma cells. Lane 5: RAW264.7 mouse macrophage-like cells. A distinct immunoreactive band is detected at approximately 28 kDa in all samples, consistent with the predicted molecular weight of CD151. These results demonstrate that this CD151 Antibody, a Tetraspanin Cell Adhesion Protein Antibody, specifically detects endogenous CD151 across human, rat, and mouse cell lines and is suitable for Western blot analysis.

Description

CD151 Antibody recognizes CD151, a member of the tetraspanin superfamily that plays a central role in organizing membrane microdomains and coordinating cell adhesion, migration, and intracellular signaling. Also known as TSPAN24, CD151 forms stable complexes with laminin-binding integrins including alpha3beta1, alpha6beta1, alpha6beta4, and alpha7beta1, helping regulate cell attachment to the extracellular matrix and communication between the cell surface and cytoskeleton. Because of its widespread expression in epithelial cells, endothelial cells, platelets, and numerous other tissues, CD151 has become an important biomarker for studies of tissue organization, angiogenesis, wound healing, and cancer progression. NSJ Bioreagents provides high-quality CD151 Antibody reagents for researchers investigating membrane organization, integrin biology, and cell adhesion mechanisms.

As a tetraspanin cell adhesion protein, CD151 functions primarily as a molecular organizer rather than a classical signaling receptor. By assembling multiprotein complexes within the plasma membrane, it enhances integrin stability, promotes focal adhesion formation, and regulates downstream signaling pathways that influence proliferation, survival, motility, and differentiation. CD151 also contributes to epithelial polarity, basement membrane interactions, platelet activation, immune cell trafficking, and vascular development. Genetic studies have demonstrated that loss of CD151 disrupts normal cell-extracellular matrix interactions and can impair kidney, skin, and vascular integrity. These diverse biological functions make a CD151 Antibody a valuable tool for investigating adhesion-dependent signaling, integrin trafficking, membrane protein organization, and cellular responses to changes in the extracellular environment.

CD151 has attracted considerable interest in oncology because elevated expression has been associated with aggressive tumor behavior in numerous malignancies, including breast, prostate, lung, colorectal, pancreatic, ovarian, and liver cancers. Increased CD151 expression has frequently been linked to enhanced invasion, migration, metastatic potential, and poor clinical prognosis through its ability to strengthen integrin-mediated signaling and promote interactions with the surrounding extracellular matrix. Beyond cancer, CD151 has also been investigated in studies of angiogenesis, fibrosis, inflammatory disease, renal pathology, and inherited disorders affecting basement membrane stability. As a result, the Tetraspanin Cell Adhesion Protein Antibody serves researchers studying mechanisms of tumor progression, vascular remodeling, tissue repair, epithelial biology, and cell-matrix communication across both normal physiology and disease models.

A CD151 Antibody / Tetraspanin Cell Adhesion Protein Antibody is commonly used in applications including Western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, immunoprecipitation, and flow cytometry to evaluate protein expression, membrane localization, and cell surface distribution in cultured cells and tissue specimens. These approaches support investigations of integrin complexes, epithelial organization, cancer biomarkers, angiogenesis, and adhesion-dependent signaling pathways. NSJ Bioreagents provides carefully validated antibodies to support reliable and reproducible detection of CD151 across a broad range of experimental models. A CD151 Antibody / Tetraspanin Cell Adhesion Protein Antibody is a valuable research reagent for investigating membrane organization, integrin biology, cell adhesion, migration, extracellular matrix interactions, and disease-associated cellular remodeling.
