Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 1 is one of several cytokine genes clustered on the q-arm of chromosome 17. Cytokines are a family of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. CCL1 is structurally related to the CXC subfamily of cytokines. Members of this subfamily are characterized by two cysteines separated by a single amino acid. This cytokine is secreted by activated T cells and displays chemotactic activity for monocytes but not for neutrophils. It binds to the chemokine receptor CCR8.
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting amounts. Titration of the CCL1 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
Human partial recombinant protein (AA 24-96) was used as the immunogen for this CCL1 antibody.
After reconstitution, the CCL1 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
