Description

Carbonic anhydrase 13 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CA13 gene. Carbonic anhydrases (CAs) are a family of zinc metalloenzymes that catalyze the interconversion between carbon dioxide and water and the dissociated ions of carbonic acid (i.e. bicarbonate and hydrogen ions).

Application Notes

Optimal dilution of the CA13 antibody should be determined by the researcher.

Immunogen

Amino acids RLSWGYREHNGPIHWKEFFP from the human protein were used as the immunogen for the CA13 antibody.

Storage

After reconstitution, the CA13 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
